DEPARTMENT LEADERSHIP
Meet the members who run the Los Santos Police Department on a daily basis. Each member of our Chain of Command was carefully selected by members of the Los Santos Police Department Command Staff, after undergoing a rigorous selection process. These members play a valuable role to the Los Santos Police Department, by maintaining & updating department policies & procedures, managing the Field Training Officer program, operating the administration division, handling supervisor requests throughout the State of San Andreas, and much more. Read below to learn more about the roles of each member.

Chief Of Police: The Chief: The Chief of Police is the highest-ranking law enforcement official in the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department's operations, personnel, strategy, and public safety efforts. The Chief ensures that the department operates efficiently and effectively to protect and serve the community while maintaining the highest ethical standards. This position requires a visionary leader capable of implementing progressive policing practices, managing significant departmental resources, and navigating complex public safety challenges.
Assistant Chief Of Police: The Assistant Chief Of Police: The Assistant Chief of Police plays a critical leadership role in the Los Santos Police Department by assisting in the overall management and operation of the department. This position is designed for a highly experienced law enforcement officer capable of managing multiple divisions, coordinating complex law enforcement operations, and ensuring the department meets its goals in public safety, efficiency, and accountability. The Assistant Chief will be a key advisor to the Chief of Police, handling both administrative and operational functions, and will assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Chief. The Asst. Chief is also responsible for the FTO and Cadet Training Program.
Deputy Chief Of Police: The Deputy Chief: The Deputy Chief of Police serves as the third-in-command of the Los Santos Police Department, directly assisting the Chief of Police & Assistant Chief Of Police in managing the overall operations, policies, and direction of the department. The Deputy Chief is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing high-level department functions, and representing the department at various community, governmental, and law enforcement meetings. This role requires a highly experienced law enforcement leader with excellent decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
Commander: A Commander: As a member of the LSPD command staff, they will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department and ensuring that law enforcement officers under their command perform their duties effectively, efficiently, and ethically. They will serve as a leader, mentor, and decision-maker, with direct involvement in policy creation, tactical operations, and the general management of the department.
Department Low Command
The following ranks are responsible for managing the chain of command as well as all bureau's & divisions
Major: The Majors: are the highest rank in the Chain of Command that is considered "Low Command". The Major's of the department are in charge of overseeing all of the LSPD operations, and as such, members chosen to be promoted to the rank of Major must have demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills. Majors are responsible for overseeing the Patrol and The Division of Human Resources. Majors are also responsible for their perspective command team under each division.
Captain (CPT): Captain: is the rank directly above Lieutenant in the rank structure. Captains are responsible for managing all LSPD Chain of Command as well as members. Captains are responsible for overall member performance. As well as helping out the Majors with any jobs that might come up.
Department Supervisors
The following ranks are responsible for managing regular member inquiries, field training, evaluation of highway patrol personnel.
Lieutenant (LT): The Lieutenant: is the first Low Command rank after the Supervisor ranks in the Los Santos Police Department. Members of this rank have shown increased dedication to the department as well as proven proficient in their field knowledge. Lieutenants are also responsible for supervising the department and making sure everything is running smooth, helping out the Supervisors, and managing patrol log reports.
Sergeant (SGT): The Sergeant: is the first rank considered department staff. Police Officersthat have reached this rank have demonstrated their leadership skills and have passed the FTO Exam. Sergeants handle transfer and reserve requests for the department and supervise the department Corporal's & Senior Corporal's.
Department Junior Supervisors
The following ranks are responsible for managing regular member inquiries & field training next to still being in training as newly appointed chain of command member.
Senior Corporal (SRCPL): The SR. Corporals: are the other Junior Supervisors of the Department. SR. Corporals help the Sergeants with all Supervisor Jobs. SR. Corporals also handle ride-alongs to help Cadets into the department. They also have their other duties which can be found in department members

Department Members
The following ranks all are regular Los Santos Policepatrol personnel, they are responsible for day to day patrol operations and will man the Patrol Division as well as all other LSPD Patrol Bureau's & Divisions.
Police Officer II (PO II): After the rank of PO I comes the rank of PO II. Police Officer II's have demonstrated increased knowledge in the department and its policies, and as such, are eligible to pursue more opportunities in the department like applying for subdivisions.
Police Officer I (PO I): Once a Probationary Officer is eligible for promotion, he/she will be promoted to the rank of PO I, except for in certain circumstances in which a Probationary Officer may be promoted to PO II in a situation.
Rookie (CDT): Probationary Officer is the rank assigned to all new members of the department. Probationary Officers are required to complete two ride-alongs per our FTO program guidelines, in order to be certified for solo patrol and eligible for promotion.
